What is Canadian Hosted Email?

CanTrust Open Source E-mail is a compliant and secure e-mail solution that is 100% hosted and backed up in Canada.

    • Modoboa e-mail interface provides webmail, calendar, contacts and other user facing parts.
    • Dovecot provides IMAP/POP3 connectivity to e-mail programs and mobile devices
    • Postfix provides the backend e-mail server that actually delivers and receives mail, using strong TLS encryption.
    • Radicale provides Calendar (CalDAV) and Contacts (CardDAV) functionality
    • ClamAV then scans emails inbound and outbound for viruses.
    • SpamAssassin checks and scores every email for spam
    • Amavis provides filtering and quarantine based on virus and spam status
    • SnappyMail is the webmail client

E-mail is priced per-user, at $5/month/user.  Each user includes 5GB of storage space, but this space is shared between your domain users so you will end up with some extra space for those who need it, if not everybody uses the entire 5GB they are allocated.
